Bucks 11-plus test error 'not sufficient grounds' for Grammar school appeals

Parents have been told that an error on the 11-plus test in Buckinghamshire is not going to be sufficient enough to warrant an appeal if their child does not reach the required score of 121. This comes despite six of the questions being officially discounted from the score as pupils struggled to finish the exam.


The error, which has been outlined in our previous blogs, was caused when the answer sheet did not provide the answer to the question for two questions. Some pupils may have spent unnecessary time on attempting to answer these. At the same time, some schools were warning in advance and told their pupils not to answer the questions whilst others were not so fortunate.
